We bought our 2nd RV from Flagg this April and wanted to compliment and thank you for all your help.

We had many questions during the purchase of the unit and Patty spent many meetings and calls to answer all of our questions and concerns. She put us at ease making the various choices we needed to purchase our unit. We discussed many pros and cons of various options.

Mike Himmer and his team have been more than terrific. We have been back multiple times to ask questions and get various items adjusted. Mike has been extremely responsive to all our questions and emails. The service is probably the best service we have received even from any automotive service company...and this is much more complicated technology than just a car with multiple systems.

Hate tolls though or rather the jams they create….FLAGG RV to Portland was slow and painful stop start ride for long stretches. Vehicle ran very well………
Thanks for the time you spent going over everything.
Have played around with the systems and the awning…..gave it a detailed exterior scub…(all nooks and crannies/rain gutters) etc….it really is like new.
Only found one broken item; the escape window (brown round plastic) turn knob is broken, if replaced the small window will likely open.
Can you help with getting one? Looks like it would be worth all of two bucks?
It was a breeze going through the US border….the paperwork and letter sent by Dave was accepted without question and thus saved us the 72 hour wait.
Canadian customs, same now we have to pass the Canadian inspection. Just waiting for the for from riv.ca

Dear Steve:

This letter is to inform you of the exceptional customer service we recently received from Dave Hunt from your RI office.

We contacted Dave late November 2010 and informed him that we were in the market for a new Class A motorhome with bunk beds. Dave reviewed his inventory and mentioned that there was a 2010 Damon with bunk beds on his lot. We negotiated a price with Dave over the phone and shortly after, mentioned that we would drive down to take a look and test drive the unit. This itself is not unique, it's what he did and said afterwards. Dave mentioned that he would take the Damon from outside his lot and place it in his warehouse, where it would be warm for us and our two kids. Furthermore - and come to find out - he came in on his day off to greet us and to make sure that any and all our questions were answered!

There was no hassle and no pressure from Dave. He let us take as long as we wanted for my wife and I to "kick the tires" a bit and chat to see if this rig would suit us and our kids. He enclosed us in the RV and gave us as much time as we needed. He checked in from time to time and was always available for us. Again, there was never any pressure from Dave to "do the deal."

We placed a deposit on the unit about two hours later and asked Dave if we could have a few more days to think about it. We assured Dave that we would be back in a few days with our decision. Dave said it would be no problem and that he would see us in a few days.

We phoned Dave on a Saturday mentioned that we wished to purchased the Damon, and that we would be in a week later to "sign and drive." We drove in on a Sunday and true to form, Dave sought to it that we were taken care of by your finance team. With two kids in tow, Dave made sure that there were plenty of crayons and coloring books for our 5 and 2 year old kids. He made sure that the kids had toy RVs for them to help keep them busy. He also made sure that the rig was "prepped" and that some cosmetic issues were addressed.

Since the purchase - bordering on two weeks now - we have phoned Dave a few times to ask him some questions about our rig. He was there to answer all our questions.

O.k., so what's the big deal, right? What's the exceptional customer service, right? Here's your answer:

1. We had to drive 1 1/2 hours one way to arrive at your FLAGG RV location in RI (we live north of Boston). A bit of a drive with kids. Dave recognized this commute and made sure that the rig was ready and warm for us.
2. We are 1st time RVer's and bluntly stated, know very little about Class A motorhomes. Dave patiently answered all our questions and gave us "space" to ponder the purchase. He also came in on his day off!
3. Upon completing the transaction, Dave proceeded to teach me about the RV. It turns out that "Ralph" was overbooked and had very little time for us to learn the coach. Dave stepped up to the plate to tutor me on the rig.
4. Service after the sale: Dave has gladly accepted our phone calls answering all my questions about the rig.

Dave set the bar high for giving us great customer service. I need to take our Damon back to your RI location to take care of some service related issues on the rig. Can your service manager - Joe - deliver? Can he rise to the challenge and provide as good or better customer service than Dave provided?

Thanks again to Dave for making this whole transaction a pleasant event. We look forward to many miles of happy smiles with our family in our Damon.

Good Afternoon,

Thought I would drop a note of our experience with Flagg RV before, during, and after the purchase of our 2009 Jayco Flight 26BH.

We had spent some time looking at various travel trailers, not really knowing what to look for or at, through the internet and local Western, MA dealerships. Further research led us to the Jayco brand and in particular the 19BH. We utilized Jayco’s website to review and configure a unit that interested us but our experiences with the other dealers was not satisfactory, even in the midst of a down economy we were treated as more of a bother than a potential customer.

We searched the internet for other Massachusetts dealers and found Flagg RV’s website which proved to be very helpful and informative. This was late on a Sunday, the last day of your weekend “sale” and “barbecue” which we missed.

I decided to take that Monday off, pack the wife and kids into our truck then drive out to your dealership. When we arrived, you pretty much met us at the door and listened to what we were looking for. A short walk later brought us to a new Jayco 19BH that we were able to walk through and around while having all our questions answered. We thought that the 19BH unit would meet our needs both in capacity and towing weight but then you suggested we look at a new 26BH unit that was identical to the 19BH with the addition of a queen size bed in the front. The walk through sold us on the 26BH but before we could even worry about negotiating a price you honored the sale price (from the weekend sale) that was still displayed on the table.

We took a few moments to finalize our decision then met you in the office to complete the sale.

During the time between sale and time of delivery, I submitted several questions via email that were answered in a reasonable time.

On April 22, 2009, we drove to your facility to accept delivery, during which Carlos walked us through the workings of the units while answering a multitude of questions. Upon completion, he started to setup the hitch while showing/explaining what he was doing so that I could set it up from then on. The brake controller was installed, in the location of my choice, with Velcro, as per my request.

Conclusion, we are quite pleased with our experience. The friendly atmosphere and professional ethic of everyone involved was refreshing and went a long way towards assuring us that our decision to purchase from Flagg RV was the correct one.

PS: Driving home to Westfield while towing the travel trailer was uneventful. It towed easily but took some getting used to; as I had never towed anything prior. The attached file is a picture taken from our home.
