Rental Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to make a reservation?

Yes. On our website, you can request a reservation that will be approved by our agents. We do not allow same-day rentals. You must have a reservation approved at least 24 hours in advance. You also must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 25 years of age. Make sure you consider how many people will be traveling with you so you have the correct amount of seat belts and sleeping arrangements to make sure the RV is comfortable for your family.

What units are available to rent at Flagg RV?

We have Class C Thor Chateau’s in 3 sizes
1. 24’ 22E - Sleeps 4 at $235/night
2. 28’ 28Z - Sleeps 6 at $275/night
3. 32’ 30D - Sleeps 7 at $295/night

What is the minimal rental period at Flagg RV?

During the peak season, the minimum rental period is 7 nights from June-August. During the regular season, the minimum rental period is 4 nights from September-May.

Is mileage included in my rental fee?

Yes, the first 100 miles per day are free. Any miles greater than that will be factored in your reservation quote.

Are there any other charges?

$49 preparation fee
$89/hour cleaning rate ($100 minimum)
$89/hour excessive pet cleaning rate ($100 minimum)

Does Flagg RV collect a security deposit?

Yes. A security deposit in the amount of $1,500 is due at the time of pick-up. This amount will cover any damage to the vehicle, regardless of fault, or additional charges that may occur during your trip including excess mileage or sales tax of that estimated. A $500 cleaning fee will be deducted from the security deposit if any scent of smoke is found in the unit. The security deposit will be forfeited if evidence of a dog or any pet is found without disclosure at the time of reservation. However, the security deposit is fully refundable within 15 business days of your return date (less any damages/additional charges), provided the RV is returned in the same condition as when it went out,
subject to rental terms and conditions.

How do I avoid additional charges when I return my rental?

We kindly ask that you return the RV in the condition it was given to you. The RV must be clean inside and out, have a full gas tank, and the waste tanks must be emptied. See above about smoke and undisclosed pets in the unit. Damage or loss of equipment will be paid for by the renter. The roof of the RV is off limits to all persons.

Is there a deposit due?

A $500 deposit is due upon approval of your reservation.

What forms of payment are accepted?

Cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and personal checks are accepted. Personal checks are not accepted within 29 days prior to departure.

Can I bring my pet?

Yes, you are allowed to bring a small dog up to 40 lbs. We understand that you may consider your dog as an important part of your family so we allow “invisible dogs” with some rules and regulations to follow. Please see our Pet Addendum upon approval of your reservation. Our charge is $10 per night. If evidence of a dog or any pet is found without disclosure at the time of reservation, the security deposit will be forfeited as stated above.

Can I smoke in my RV?

Absolutely not. All of our RV’s are 100% smoke free. A $500 charge will be deducted from the security deposit if there is any scent of smoke in the RV upon return, even if it is camp fire smoke. Please monitor the windows and doors of the RV while there is a campfire as they should all be closed.

Can I use the generator?

Yes. Use of the generator is $4/hour over a 3 hour per day allotment. Please be advised that the generator is a luxury option and is susceptible to service interruption and is considered not reliable, therefore no credits or refunds will be made for the usability of the generator.

Can I rent off-season during the winter months?

Yes. Please be advised that the motorhomes will be winterized so the water and holding tanks will be completely drained to prevent the tanks and pipes from freezing and bursting. Otherwise, our fee for winter use is $199 to de-winterize.

What is the Cancellation policy?

Reservations cancelled 60 days or more prior to your departure will result in a full refund minus a processing fee. Reservations cancelled 59 days or less before your departure will forfeit your estimated charges and down payment.

When can I pick up and return my rental?

Pick up times are after 1 PM on the day of your departure. Earlier times may be arranged depending on availability. Return times are before 10 AM. There will be an additional charge for any late returns. Remember, if there is another family scheduled to pick up the RV you’re driving for their vacation, they will not be able to start their trip as planned. Waste tanks must be dumped or there is a $25 fee per tank that will be deducted from the security deposit. Fuel level must also be full or there will be a $50 charge deducted from the security deposit plus the cost of the fuel.

How do I request a reservation?

Click “Rentals” at the top of the page and continue from there to select the RV that best suits you and your family. You will receive a quote from an agent to further the process.
